The request to participate in the tender was received in February 2014. The customer needed a multi-channel broadcast system in HD and SD to launch five new movie channels.

VisionHOUSE specialists offered a comprehensive solution based on automated playout from Oasys (BroadStream). The redundancy of the broadcast servers is implemented according to the N+1 scheme. The solution is based on 2 servers, each of which plays two independent channels: one HD, the second SD channel and another backup server capable of playing two HD + SD channels.

In addition to playback, the solution provides branding (graphic design of the broadcast – logo creation, overlaying of dies on the video), as well as dynamic generation of announcements from the playlist.

One of the project’s features is integration with the inMedia traffic system with various modules, including those for planning, scheduling, playback and segmentation of material, etc. The system provides up-to-date time characteristics of video materials (input tag, duration) from the automation system, automatically receives a sign of video availability on the automation system’s video server, generates a playlist in the automation system format, and provides a range of many other features. The solution also includes systems from Ross Video and Elecard.

All departments of VisionHOUSE – integration, design, installation and service – were efficient, and within 2 weeks after signing the contract, test broadcasting was launched.

On August 1, 5 new TV channels went on air in accordance with the project requirements.
