The Video Goal Judge system from ColosseoEAS assisted the referees at the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Division 1A, which took place at the Kyiv Sports Palace on April 22-28.
The installation and support of the system at the Championships was provided by VisionHOUSE and ColosseoEAS specialists.
The system was created together with the best ice hockey referees. It comes with at least five HD cameras: on the gate, above the gate, and for a general view of the ice rink. You can also connect all other cameras used for broadcasting to the system. The HD quality of the footage allows for a full analysis of game moments, while additional features and IPHD data transfer allow for remote analysis.
The time in the system is measured to the nearest hundredth of a second, which meets the requirements of the IIHF.
